How long have you worked in accounting, finance, and/or tech? Recruiting?
I've been in the accounting industry for close to 10 years.
Why do you look forward to working in accounting, finance or tech talent acquisition?
I honestly enjoy the work and find it interesting.
If you were to provide advice to peers in accounting, finance, or tech seeking to develop their careers, what would it be?
I think it's important to remember that soft skills (communication, active listening, developing relationships in a team/network, etc.) are often just as important as having technical expertise. Both need to be continually worked on to grow a successful career.
How were you introduced to the DeWinter Group?
I was directly contacted by external recruiters while I was still an auditor in public accounting.

How do you plan on developing the DeWinter Group? What are your goals for the coming year?
I hope to ensure that accounting and finance operations are sustainable as the DeWinter Group continues to grow.

My favorite Bay Area activity is watching San Jose Sharks hockey.
What did you originally want to be when you grew up?
Growing up, I always thought I'd end up being a math teacher.
