How long have you worked in accounting, finance, and/or tech? Recruiting?
I have worked in the industry for 13 years.
How were you introduced to the recruiting industry?
I was looking for a job when I got out of college and was contacted by a recruiter regarding a role at Sapphire (now Randstad).
Why do you look forward to working in accounting, finance or tech talent acquisition?
I am looking forward to finding all of DeWinter Group's internal talent so that more people can be a part of such a great organization. I also cannot wait to help with all learning and development across the organization! Over the past 13 years in the industry, I have grown more passionate about it and look forward to helping all of DeWinter Group and Maris Consulting Group folks succeed.
If you were to provide advice to peers in accounting, finance, or tech seeking to develop their careers, what would it be?
Be a sponge - listen to your talent, clients, and colleagues, soak it all up!
How were you introduced to the DeWinter Group?
I first learned about DeWinter Group through Shane Oberg. Over 5 years ago, Shane tried to recruit me and he did a great job staying in touch with me over the years.

How do you plan on developing the DeWinter Group? What are your goals for the coming year?
I look forward to developing a strong Internal Talent Acquisition team to ensure that DeWinter Group and Maris Consulting Group can reach full potential with the best possible talent in the industry. Along with finding the best internal talent, I also will be creating learning and development programs for both new and existing employees so that all employees have the opportunity to grow in their careers. My goal for this year is to assist in the growth of all internal teams and ensure each and every person within the firm has an opportunity to learn and grow.

What's your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley?
I love having everything at our fingertips in the Bay Area - opportunities to explore nature, have your hands on the latest tech, and great shopping.
What did you originally want to be when you grew up?
When I was in kindergarten, I told my family I wanted to be a garage door painter and I have never lived it down. As I grew older, I thought I would go on to be an attorney.
What’s your favorite '90s jam?
Whoomp there it is! - Tag Team.

"I brought the ice luge and some margaritas. Who is ready to party?!" He is obviously here to make sure everyone has a great time!
